It really isn't my intent to focus solely on politics here. It is just one of those days . . .Buchanan has never been my kinda guy. His behavior with regard to the Sotomayor hearings has been shameful and dishonorable.
But his statements saying that Todd Palin "ought to take Levi down to the creek and hold his head underwater until the thrashing stops" go beyond the pale. For the sake of better ratings or perhaps because he really means it, he advocates murder as an appropriate response to speaking against a public figure. Instead of having a discussion on why the hell is the media is giving time to her daughter's bitter 19-year-old ex-boyfriend, he advocates murder. Of course, 'cause that would be rational.
